Did someone say Card Maps??

September 7, 2024

Fall is in the air... )Still over 100 in Tucson but I am trying!) and the kids are back to school! I thought us crafter could use a little back to school too. My in person classes for September are just that with back to school with Stampin' University! Last week we focused on how to be inspired by color in our projects and this week we will learn how to find, use and store Card Maps! For me Storing was also for sharing as I covered card maps a few years ago now. Be sure to click on the Monday Mapping icon on the right of this screen to see all the maps, sample and instructions! The Current SU! Catalog also features quite a few fun maps. I hope you enjoy using them!

Summer is here!

July 3, 2022
Summer is here and the monsoons gearing up! I was inspired to make this fun summer card from an Artisan Design Team member from SU! last month. Using the simplest die you can create a wow card. This card is a Slimline measuring 8.5 by 3.5. I used a 1/4 mat using white on white cardstock. The base card is colored in a rainbow of colors using direct to paper with a blending brush. Once you have colored the base simply die cut the top layer using an assortment of fun, small dies! Be sure to save...

Flowering Cactus Card Class

February 9, 2021

Being from Az I am in love with anything cactus! And this "Flowering Cactus" medley of product do not disappoint! Love! For class this week we are cutting the image out from the DSP and creating a focal point on this bi-folding card. Where the two layers overlap I snuck in a super thin magnet so the card secretly closes! The left side is about 2 1/2 inches wide and the right is about the same. If a standard card is only 4 1/4 wide these two over sized sides will overlap nicely. Have fun explo...

Christmas Card for September...

September 15, 2020

This is my Christmas card for September. Locally I teach a class every week and on the 3rd Thursday we have been making a Holiday card. We were afraid we would not be able to host a holiday stamp camp this year with everything going on but, everyone wants to come!!! In the mean time here is this months inspiration for a Christmas card. I am using Peaceful Nativity Stamps and matching dies. I love how 3D the stable came out. For the night sky I blended 3 blues: Night of navy, Misty moonlight &...

Hallows Night Magic Card...

September 8, 2020
Here is a peak at this weeks card class!

For this weeks class we are making a Halloween card. If Halloween is not your thing stick with using just the flowers in this collection and it could easily become a steampunk or Gothic style card. We are using a mix of black paper with different finishes on this card. Glitter, glossy and some shimmer! For class you can pick from an assortment of DSP paper and embellishments. I am also in love with the dark "Iridescent Pearls" from this collections. If ...
