This is my Christmas card for September. Locally I teach a class every week and on the 3rd Thursday we have been making a Holiday card. We were afraid we would not be able to host a holiday stamp camp this year with everything going on but, everyone wants to come!!! In the mean time here is this months inspiration for a Christmas card. I am using Peaceful Nativity Stamps and matching dies. I love how 3D the stable came out. For the night sky I blended 3 blues: Night of navy, Misty moonlight & Seaside Spray. I just used a blending brush to get the fade and worked light to dark. After I was done I spritzed with water and added the star from the die set. For Mary & Joseph I stamped them in Soft Suede and colored with our alcohol markers - "Blends". This is a great tip that any of our Stampin Up! water biased ink pads can be used to stamp an image and then color in. Just think of the possibilities! Stampin dark green for leafs and color in...Too cool!
