Here is a super simple layout for all of you dealing with the first week back to College! My daughter and I both are dealing with it. Wish us Luck! When you want to make a simple card remember a few trick to create a fresh new look on an old layout. I know all of us have used this layout but try corner rounding two opposite corners. I followed that through on my card, Mat and Focal layer. I used scraps to name the focal layer and die cut out the feather and backed with a piece of card-stock. ...

Card Map #003 Layout

For this weeks layout be creative with the Focal Image. Use a die cut to get a fun shape to work with and then pick stamp or in my case I cut out a shape and filled in the area from behind. At the last minute I got the idea to actually stamp a feather in white stazon on a window sheet and let the paint swatch show through. Beautiful effect!

Here's my card using Card Map #002!

Oh Snap! I made a great card...Check out this new DSP Flash back paper, Snapshot Camera Stamp colored with our new Blendabilities Markers and more. Colors in my card include: Basic Grey, Vanilla, Real Read and Starfruit. There is also some Black Craft in embossed with a mix of Black EB powder and Diamond Glitter.
